Welcome to GSIS

GSIS was founded in 2006 as a coeducational Christian faith-based school.

We have become, in a short period of time, a reference for excellent international education in Korea, providing aspirational academic programs taught by dedicated, and inspiring teachers through interactive, thought-provoking lessons within our caring community.

The strategic geographical location of the city makes our school an ideal international school for both students and staff from all walks of life.

We were the first IB world school in Korea, and immensely proud to say that our students are offered places at the most prestigious universities around the world, and our graduating classes go on to enjoy happy lives as global citizens.

Our Missions & Ethos
GSIS cultivates internationally-minded learners to lead and serve for the glory of God.

We believe that each student is recognized as a person made in the image of God, and the goal of our school is to provide a quality educational environment, in which each student's unique gifts of intellect, personality, stature, and spirit are given the best opportunities for development toward maturity.

When we had a teacher decide to take another job in mid-July, we were left with few options. Historically, it was a tough position to fill. Within 24 hours of posting the position on Schrole, we were able to offer a contract to a more-qualified educator.
