American School of The Hague (ASH) offers a complete Early Childhood through to pre-university education, with Elementary, Middle and High School programs for students aged 3 - 18. The school is also in the unique position in The Netherlands to offer dedicated Special Education programs in each of the school divisions.

The school is located in Wassenaar, a residential community on the north side of The Hague in The Netherlands. The mission focuses on nurturing and inspiring character, commitment, creativity and learning. In a safe and welcoming environment, the highly qualified teaching staff strive to achieve the full potential of each child in the culturally diverse student body.

Graduates are accepted worldwide with a large acceptance rate at American, European and home country universities. The Elementary, Middle and High Schools all offer dedicated Special Needs programs for students with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The Special Education program at ASH has developed a worldwide reputation as one of the leaders in providing this service to students of all ages - Special Education forms part of the school's Mission; to be inclusive and to provide a high-quality education to all types of learners.

American School of The Hague is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. In May 2016, ASH was re-accredited with the official Green Flag Award (Green Level status) from the international group, Eco-Schools Nederland and continues to maintain its Green Flag status. Becoming an Eco-School allows the school to realize values and practices of sustainable action within the daily function of the school's operations. The School is governed by a Board of Trustees made up of parents of ASH students and external community members, who are not parents of ASH students.
