Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is seeking to appoint a compassionate and experienced School Counsellor to join our team in August 2025 to support the well-being and development of our students. This role is essential in fostering a positive school environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology or a related field.
Strong knowledge of child development, mental health strategies, and safeguarding policies.
Experience working with students across all key stages and abilities
Commitment to the values of inclusion, diversity and well being
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Takes an active role in the development of counseling elements of the strategic action plan
Facilitate and coordinate all counseling functions to ensure the smooth running of the Department.
Provide individual and group counselling to students to support their emotional, social, and academic well-being.
Develop and implement programs to promote positive mental health and well-being.
Identify and support students facing personal, academic, or social challenges.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional counselling standards.
You must always demonstrate, model and advocate the AGS Values.
