The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Business Teacher who can deliver engaging and innovative lessons to pupils at Key Stage 4 and 5. The ability or willingness to teach Economics and/or Travel and Tourism is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Business up to iGCSE and A-Level.
Deliver dynamic and purposeful lessons that engage learners and encourage academic excellence.
Contribute to curriculum planning and ongoing development within the department.
Support wider school initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and achievement-focused learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
A certified teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) from a UK university.
A degree relevant to Business or a closely related field.
Experience teaching Business in a British curriculum setting at Key Stage 4 (iGCSE).
Ability to teach Business to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
Excellent lesson planning and classroom management skills.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
High levels of motivation, professionalism, and adaptability.
A good sense of humour and a passion for teaching.
Desirable:
Experience teaching Economics and/or Travel and Tourism at Key Stage 4/5.
Recent UK teaching experience and/or previous international school experience.
Evidence of outstanding teaching practice and a drive for continued professional growth.
Child protection training and awareness.
Please note: Due to Qatar’s work visa regulations, all applicants must be under the age of 50 at the time of appointment.
