The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Art Teacher to inspire and develop our pupils’ artistic talents and creative thinking. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our rapidly expanding group of schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Art and Design up to A-Level.
Create and deliver inspiring and challenging lessons that support all learners.
Encourage artistic exploration and technical skill development through a variety of media.
Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of innovative teaching practices.
Promote student participation in local and international exhibitions and competitions.
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
A certified teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) from a UK university.
A relevant degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
Experience teaching Art and Design in a British curriculum school.
Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
High motivation and a passion for teaching Art.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Ability to teach Art to A-Level.
Desirable:
Experience in digital art or design technology.
Proven experience teaching in the UK.
