SNA-HCMC is looking for an experienced MYP I&S teacher to commence August 2025. Candidates should already have a minimum of at least two years teaching MYP I&S. After-school activities (ASA's) are an expectation as we move forward developing our ASA's programme.

• Attend and constructively contribute to staff meetings.
• Assist in supervision of student breaks when required.
• Coordinate class activities as deemed necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date records of assessment, attendance, planning, reports, conferences, and communication with parents
• Establish links with the parent community to ensure that parents are kept well informed about student progress
• Assist, as required, in the development of social and emotional curricular materials.
• Act as a resource/contact/support for new staff members (i.e. curriculum, schedules, procedures).
• Participate in and assist with school events as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Thorough understanding of pedagogy and the best practices of education.
Desire to teach middle school-aged children and ability to adapt to their developmental status.
Ability to design lessons that teach curriculum in an engaging manner, applying various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and individual or collaborative projects and research.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage and control the classroom.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high-stress situations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject required; Master’s degree preferred.
Teaching license/ certificate required.
Previous teaching experience with middle-school-aged children preferred.

1. SNA HCMC: Gross (before tax) of VND 16,000,000 (equivalent to USD 800) for single teacher, Gross (before tax) of VND 25,000,000 (equivalent to USD 1000) for teaching couples.
2. SNA Marianapolis:
Choice between housing allowance and on-campus housing: the housing allowance is VND14,000,00 for single and VND 20,000,000 for teaching couples. On-campus housing is are small dormitory-style apartments. Bien Hoa is less expensive than HCMC.
Flights/Transport
+ Air fare arrive-in Viet Nam for teacher, not dependents: economic class, reimbursed on actual cost (tax invoice will be requested).
+ Annual air fare to home country for teacher, not dependents: economic class, reimbursed on actual cost (tax invoice will be requested).
Moving Allowance
+ Shipping allowance: paid according to the invoice of the air/sea shipping company, excluding express from DHL, Fedex, UPS,.. with maximum amount of gross (before tax) VND 20,000,000 for single teacher; VND 30,000,000 for couple teacher.
